Yes, the team that Chad Johnson built franchised Shayne Graham. This means he pretty much has no choice but to stay in Cincy and get paid around $2.48 million for one year.
We believe this is the first time a Tech alum has been franchised. We're not sure if Vick was ever franchised, but we're positive he cannot bear "alumni" status.
This seems to be a money saving move by the Bungles, as the cost to franchise T.J. Hoosyourmomma would be around $10 million.
We're fairly certain Graham was responsible for the single memorable kick in Virginia Tech football. Well... most memorable made kick. Mr. Pace sure supplied many of the opposite brand.
