The "kind of" is due to the fact that the Bengals really shouldn't be considered a professional team.

Yes, the team that Chad Johnson built franchised Shayne Graham. This means he pretty much has no choice but to stay in Cincy and get paid around $2.48 million for one year.

We believe this is the first time a Tech alum has been franchised. We're not sure if Vick was ever franchised, but we're positive he cannot bear "alumni" status.

This seems to be a money saving move by the Bungles, as the cost to franchise T.J. Hoosyourmomma would be around $10 million.

We're fairly certain Graham was responsible for the single memorable kick in Virginia Tech football. Well... most memorable made kick. Mr. Pace sure supplied many of the opposite brand.

If you look closely to the left of the field goal, you may see your humble editor and his father celebrating as quietly as possible. We both wore those bear suits made for stunt people.
