A while back, I was able to watch a baseball game that pretty much summed up every summer since elementary school. Well, last night's game had quite the same feel.
The Pirates won 2-1 on a wild pitch in the top of the 9th... Just think about that for a second.
While the winning part may not be familiar, the ridiculousness is. I think the two teams left a junior college on the bases.
It definitely defined the Nationals season. The bullpen for Washington is now 1-15. They have 4 more losses than the entire team has wins.
In more important news, the Capitals head coach was sitting a few rows in front of me. I guess he does have a lot of time on his hands...
