Alright, I have had time to collect myself and calm down my emotions (even though the Pats had a f@#king shitty game yesterday against the Jets. Come on, the Jets? You're killing me. ). In hindsight this game was not very good, since we almost got beat by field goals. Whoever had Nebraska's kicker on their fantasy team must be pretty happy right now. But if we need to look on the positive side of things for once, let's do it.

- We were down at halftime. We were down most of the second half. We were getting beaten in our own stadium by field goals. Yet we came back in the dying seconds of the game to win it. We didn't give up. We didn't collapse. We persevered through our shitty play and won the game. It wasn't pretty, but we won. Next week when we look back at this game, it's a "W" on our record. Nothing more, nothing less.

- We saw Tyrod trying to make passes. We aren't relying on his running skills only. This is good, but we need to have a nice mixture of both. And given the WR talent we have given to the NFL in the past few years, this revelation is a bit late. But it's better than a swift kick in the ass, so we can't complain too much.

- Ryan Williams has now found out he needs to up the ante against better teams, because they all aren't Marshall. Hopefully he carries this on to this weekend's game. \

- We got tested against a decent team at home. Now we have Miami coming in 6 days. They're good. They haven't been good for a few years now and we may have forgotten how dominating they were when we were in the Big East with them. West Virginia wasn't even a blip on the Big East map. This is going to be a tough test at home, but luckily the Hokies have a few secret weapons they are bringing out for the game on Saturday: A few extra loud extra voices in the form of myself, CGally, Maniak, Mrs. Northerner, and The Snodburger. Be scared Miami. Be very scared.

- This battle against Nebraska and Miami's blowout of GT may be the exact things we need to win against the 'Canes. A tough win for us that showed us the holes we need to fill in and a cockiness-building blowout win for the 'Canes to make them think they don't have to try as hard to win. This is all me looking for a silver lining, though, so I don't promise this as a fact. For all I know, we could start to think that no matter how bad we play, we should always pull out a win, which is definitely not true. But enough negative nancy talk, we're going to tear shit up this week. Gobble gobble, bitches.
