So here we are on Bloguin.com. I would assume everyone is as new to this as I am, so please excuse our inevitable mistakes while we get into the groove of posting on this site. Of course, any suggestions on how to improve the site will be gratefully accepted. Well, that or we will hunt you down like the holier-than-thou asshole you are. But give it a shot, you never know what mood we're in.
Anyways, in order to inaugurate this blog, I would like to talk about something very important to me. How anti-climatic it was for the Red Sox to get into the playoffs based on a Ranger loss.
Now we have the option of making you click on a link to read the rest of the post. I'm going to love this.
Back to the Sox. Here's a question: Do they justify a celebration last night for making the playoffs, or is the celebration justified for tonight, when they will win the game that would have been the nice way of getting into the playoffs?
I'm going with waiting until the win. Call me old fashioned, but I feel like it just means more when you feel like you've earned something rather than "fallen into" it. And that's what the Boys in Beantown did. They fell, backwards I might add, into the playoffs this year. Not that doesn't cheapen the wild card berth, unless or course they lose the rest of their remaining games. But They have got to win win one of them. At least one. And I say save the party for after that game. Make it worth it.
