The Spectacular:

Rex Ryan did nothing but run his mouth during week leading up to the Patriots game. Better yet he spent all offseason talking about the Patriots. Rex Ryan’s Jets came out Sunday and made the Patriots look pedestrian. If the oppising quarterback throws 47 times and only throws for 216 yards it is a good day. It’s all well and good that Brady completed 49% of his passes but he only averaged 4.6 yards per attempt. Rex Ryan had his boys pumped for the game I wonder how they will get up for Miami or Buffalo.
The Horrible:

The offense displayed during the St. Louis vs. Washington game. And this wasn’t because of great defense; it was just poor execution and poor coaching. It’s great that a team can gain 350 yards of total offense but if you can’t score what good is it. Many teams can move the ball 20-20 but it’s a special offense that can score regularly in the red zone. How little faith does a coach have in his quarterback if he decides to run a running back option pass on 3rd and goal? What must Steve Spagnuolo be thinking right now? He turned down the Redskins to go to the Rams. That’s like turning down your right hand for your left hand.
The F-Ugly:

Jeff Reed, and his battle against the wind, wins this week. Jeff Reed is touted as one of the best if not the best kicker in the wind. But, on Sunday at Solider Field he was not. The man who is used to kicking in the tornado that is Heinz field decided to forget hot to kick for 15 minutes costing the Steelers a game. I’m sorry Jeff Reed it is almost too easy to hate on a kicker, it’s much more fun to hate on the fans of the kicker.
