Spring Game: We're So Excited!!!

And not scared.
Yes folks, it's that time of year! The sun is shining, birds are chirping, and non-snow activity is taking place on the Dietrick Lawn. But more importantly, football returns to Blacksburg!
Well, it's kind of football. The Spring Game is here, and is ready to be your excuse to go back to town.
This weekend is as much a practice for fans as it is for the team. Tailgating skills have to be in top form come September, and we don't want anyone to be rusty.
Your humble editor will be announcing his presence with authority. This blog requires that I put in hours of diligent study, and I refuse to be lazy. I will be getting a first-hand account of this game, and my analysis will be hard-hitting*. Thus, I'm writing the trip off as a business expense.
* also acceptable: drunken ramblings
The following occurred when I asked to leave early today.
C Gally: Is it cool if I head out around three? Heading to Blacksburg.
Boss: No problem. What's in Blacksburg this weekend?
C Gally: Our spring football game.
Boss: ....
C Gally: I'm driving four hours to go watch my team play itself.
Boss: ....
C Gally: Where'd you go to school?
Boss: American.
So if you'd like to hang with the coolest blogger this side of Kyle Tucker, you know how to hit us up. Or just look for the drunk guy screaming about the Penguins on Saturday night.
