Sweet Jehoshaphat I love this picture.

I don't know if I made it known before, but I don't really hate UNC. Well I didn't hate UNC. I mean they have a good basketball team, they have a decent football team, and they aren't Duke. I hate Duke. Not for any particular reason. But no one really needs a reason to hate Duke. Or Notre Dame. Just the fact that they exist is enough reason.
The rivalry between these two schools is historic and that's why we decided to make them into one HateFest post.
Like I said before, I never really hated UNC. I think once or twice I may have even said that had I resigned myself to going to school down south, UNC may have been a very possible option. But that's neither here nor there. UNC has earned my hate now. They kicked us when we were down last year. And it was SO NOT COOL. What did we ever do to you guys? Sure we beat you on the gridiron, but come on, you OWNED us on the hardwood. That's your specialty too. But no, you had to come over and beat us at home in football and not even have the decency to let us return the favor in basketball. Dicks.
Well this year will be different. We will win on the grass and you will win on the courts. Like it should be.
Duke on the other hand, were dicks way before any of this. I mean, there is no way in hell that we will be losing to Duke in football anytime soon, but, we have eeked out a basketball win here or there. Granted it hasn't been in a few years...cough...2007 and 2005...cough... but it still happened this decade. So I'm going to consider that a win for us.
But seriously, Dookies have the skill on the court and not on the field, and they seem to have accepted their fate as the football losers that still aren't very lovable. So I can respect them for that. However, they are still Duke. And Duke sucks. Maybe it's because the student and alumni bodies think they are hot shit or maybe it's because JJ Reddick is terrible at poetry, I don't know. I'm not a doctor. But what I do know is that they suck and we hate them. So there.
Though, I'd still rather be either of them over Central Michigan anyday.
