After the first two losses in the season, who the hell thought we would find ourselves here?  Not me, I can tell you that.  But here we are.  Playing FSU for our shot at the Orange Bowl.  Awesome.  Your predictions after the jump.

-------------------------

First things first, our last regular season predictions winner.  This week the winner was only two points off the total score.  That person would be none other than Wright!  Good thing he changed his score at the last minute.  Now for his win what does he get?

vttie

A Virginia Tech tie!  Alright, nothing great to say about this.  But who cares, because its ACC CHAMPIONSHIP GAME TIME!!

Your predictions:

BDubs: I imagine both teams struggle in the first quarter and it will be a close game going into half.  However, I think the Hokies come out and dominate the second half.  Tyrod provides 250 yards of offense with 2 TDs and RW/DW/DE combine for 200 yards rushing and 3 TDs.  Hokies win 38-20.

DiP: 24-13 hokies

d_w: 34-17 hokies win.. Tyrod leads us to victory.

BBull: 23-21 Virginia Tech. Hokies red zone woes will keep this one closer than it should be. Look fore Hosley to get a pick to tie our record for interceptions in a season.

Wright: It's going to be a close game, mostly because of our track record against FSU. Ponder gets to our D early, but we settle down and Hosley picks off yet another pass. RMFW is the difference maker in the second half like he was against Miami. Hokies hold on for a 33-29 win, and earn their 4th ACC title in seven years.

Poppa Gally: Hokie – Hokie - Hokie HIGH!!!!! Blocked kick and Defense wins this one……We are headed south Tomorrow with the MotorHome and 5 Hokie fans on board!!!

Tech wins 28 – 24!!!

CMU Football Analyst: 27-26 VT, it's gonna be a close game throughout, could go into OT.  RMFW is due for a huge game.

Hokie Ambassador to Philly: Hokies win a close one, 30 – 27

Maniak: Hosley has a pick or two...we spot them at least 10 points and come roaring back in the second half.  42-24 win for the good guys

Hokie Guru: Don't have a whole lot of patience with the whiny Jimbo "I wish the ACC Championship Game was in an indoor facility" Fisher.  We realize Charlotte won't be as warm as Tallahassee, Tampa, or Jacksonville but smh.  Tough ish, Jimbo.  If you you're a good team, you can win anywhere.

Now, to the game at hand:  I expect Florida State to completely sell out and try to stop the run (I'm sure we'll see 7-8 guys up there).  It's gonna be tough sledding early, but Stiney's gotta stay with the run.  We will have our opportunities in the passing game, but we have to use these NFL-caliber RBs.  RMFW and DMFE both will have big days and we'll be just short of 200 yards on the ground.  Additionally, DMFW will have a great special teams play.  I love our CBs... Jayron and Rock will be lock down.  Hazley will be money as usual... and finally, Tyrod, the ACC player of the year, will also bring is an ACC Championship.  Virginia Tech wins 27-17.

GWay: 38-28 Hokies. I believe.

MeetBag:  I agree with TokenGirl... need to erase the painful FSU nightmare from Jacksonville.  After opening the season with a late loss, we bring things full circle with a victory in the final minute... Hokies 31, FSU 30.

JMcB: 31-17. In Tyrod we trust. RMFW, DMFW, DE all have big games.

I believe.

Token Girl: I need a new VT/FSU memory to replace the orange throwing/tomahawk chop from Jacksonville circa 2005.

34-27 Hokies....I BELIEVE.

CGally: 35-27, heart attack Hokies strike again with 28 2nd half points. Tyrod, RFMW, and Evans combine for 5 TD's. Defense makes me swear a lot.

The Northerner: Start down at least 7, come back in second half.  RMFW and Evans get in the end zone and DWilson amazes us with some insane run.  34-28 Hokies.

There you have it.  We made it to the ACC Championship Game.  We need to win this one badly.  We know it.  You know it. FSU knows it. Our team knows it.  Get it done, boys.

Gobble gobble, bitches.

LET'S GO HOKIES!!
