It's been a while, huh? I could give you a long explanation of why I haven't updated this in a week, but let's just leave it at: wife's car got totaled, went to Vegas, computer had viruses, and work. That should suffice, right? Anyways, ONTO THE FOOD!
-------------------------------
Huge upsets here in these final rounds. Some expected but some not. But hey, its not like we can never eat the foods that lost right?

Oh, we can't? Well shiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiit.
----------------------
FRUIT REGION
1 Apples vs 3 Strawberries
Apples beat up on watermelon 25 to 10. I mean did watermelon really think it had a chance? It was a 13 seed. Come on, watermelon. You made it pretty far. Keep your head high. Bananas, on the other hand, kill yourself. You lost. Strawberries were much better than you. They won 22-13. Maybe you weren't as good as you thought you were bananas. Taking over other flavors and being long aand shit. Strawberries own you. But can strawberries work their magic on apples? It's a good matchup to say the least.
-----------------------
MEAT REGION
1 Beef vs 7 Turkey
Beef stunned pork. STUNNED. Pork put up a good fight, but in the end, couldn't go toe to toe with cow flesh. I can understand it, though. While pork has ham and bacon included with it, nothing beats a good hamburger. Most of the time at least. Turkey on the other hand absolutley crushed lobster in our biggest win of the round, 27-8. Can't say I'm shocked here. The turkey is a majestic bird who is loyal, tough, and awesome. Pretty damn good defensive line, too.
-----------------------
VEGETABLE REGION
4 Peppers vs 3 Potato
HUGE UPSET ALERT. Peppers, of all things, were the ones to eliminate the first 1-seed, tomatoes. I can't believe it. But there are those people out there who love their spicy foods. And that can't exist without peppers. Apparently we have a large contigency of Irish people reading our site (read: The Gallagher family), because potatoes beat up on corn 24-10. So now we have peppers versus potatoes. Spicy vs Irish. Polar opposites.
-----------------------
CHEESE REGION
1 Cheddar vs 7 Monterey Jack
Cheddar had a scare this last round only beating Mozzarella 20-14. Monterey Jack took down parmesan 20 -13. This could be anyone's game here, but I'm willing to bet that playing mozzarella is a bit harder than parmesan. I think cheddar has the advantage here.
