Tonight, the Hokies take on Quinipiaquack or something in the first round of the NIT. First person to know off-hand what state they are from gets a free hug.
It’s been three days since “the incident”, but we’re still kind of bitter. Bitter at the committee, Joe “Ballsface” Lunardi, and more than anyone else, our own team. It’s a little tough to get amped up for this game, we’ll be completely honest. We don’t know jack about the team we’re playing. We are still stressed out about our brackets. And we’re playing in a tournament that really means nothing. Try getting amped for the International Bowl. That’s pretty much what we have.
Maybe while you listen to the game on the radio, you can amuse yourself with our Sporcle Quiz of the Day (yeah, new feature). Your humble editor got 114. Another free hug to anyone that beats me.
But for some reason, we feel pretty good today. Oh, that’s right… BECAUSE IT’S F*CKING ST. PATRICK’S DAY!!! It’s the greatest holiday of the year: it’s based solely on drinking! Unfortunately, my office is made up of a bunch of fuddy-duddies that don’t allow drinking during work hours. But as soon as that whistle blows, it’s off to the bar to drink until I can’t feel feelings!
But there’s really no reason to drag this one out. Get it done boys.
