In a game that had all the excitement of Christmas mass, Tech outlasted UConn to match the highest win total in school history.

Yes, the Hokies won in thrilling fashion Monday night, needing a big stop on defense to seal the deal. This, of course, after Dorenzo Hudson nailed a Greivis Vasquez-esque fade away to put Tech up one with 11 seconds left.
It was one of those shots where the ball seemed to stop in mid air. You know it was a terrible set-up, but definitely looked like a good shot.
Then boom. In. We actually came up with the big shot to win a big game. We know that UConn kinda sucks this year, but the name is still there. And this win felt good.
Next up is Rhode Island on Wednesday. No word on whether or not the state's most popular resident will be in attendance.

In tournament challenge news, G. Bringhurst and J. Morgan are leading the pack. I don't actually know these guys, which means we have readers that aren't personal friends or parents!!
Too bad they have Kansas taking the crown. Bobby the Ginger is in third with Kentucky as champ. DCno10 has the most possible points remaining.
As for everyone else? Well most of us kinda sucked. But there's always someone on the board that sucked more than you, and that person is JimboF. He's feeling lonely in basement right now, which is ironic since he actually does live in my basement. If he finishes last, he has clean out the kegerator... ewwwww.
