Well now. This season is shaping up to be not completely terrible. Two games left against our two biggest rivals. It's Hokie time boys and girls.
------------------------------------
First things first. The winner from last week. That would be none other than CMU Football Analyst! We beat UNC, so what are the two things that come to mind when you think of UNC and Chapel Hill?

That's right, some tar and a tobacco plant! Yayyy!
Ok that shit is over. Time for the predictions!
BDubs: I think VT's record against backup quarter backs is 50-0 in the last decade. VT will stop the run and make the true freshman (4th string QB) run for his life. Tyrod puts up the stats that lock up ACC player of the year - 240 and 3 TDs - and the Hokies leave south beach with a 30-10 victory.
DiP: 30-24 hokies
d_w: 45-17 hokies win, and miami complains that the weather was favoring us again
BBull: 27 to 13 Virginia Tech.
Wright: I still don't think we'll go undefeated in the ACC, and there's no way we'll lose to UVA, so that only leaves the Canes...However, there's no way I can pick Miami to win in anything. It'll be a relatively low scoring game, and Miami has a decent D and a strong linebacking core. But the difference is Miami's freshman QB going against our D. Our offense stumbles early out of the gate and Miami gets on the board first, but too much Taylor on ground and in air leads the comeback. Hokies win 24-20.
Poppa Gally: BLOCKED KICK…… VT WINS BIG……..-> 35 – 14!!!!
CMU Football Analyst: 30-12 hokies. No fanfare. All business.
Hokie Ambassador to Philly: 31-17 Hokies
Maniak: even though georgia tech's backup qb made us look rather pedestrian at the end of that game...this is Miami we're talking bout. this is jacory 'is the movie called inception or interception?' harris's understudy and he stands no chance. trap game?! my ass. Our boys want nothing other than a big W in this one. We will head to south florida and mop the field with these kids.

out the Follically Awesome and donate to our team if you can!
Hokie Guru: I like the Hokies chances against a backup, freshman QB, but conerned about our inability to stop the run (I'm surprised I'm saying that, but it's been one of our weak points on defense this season). Having said that, the defense has also been one of those "bend-do-not-break" deals, so I think we'll get some stops when it counts. I see a very low scoring game... one again (like was the case in my prediction last week vs. UNC) where Chris Hazley will be money (I count him as the MVP again of this game). This is also a game where Jayron Hosley will have a lot of family and friends in the stands (he's from Florida, you know)... and he will impress as he has all season. Hokies win 25-14.
Bobby the Ginger: VT 23 Miami 20. The Hokies take another step towards an undefeatedseason behind 2 Tyrod Taylor TDs and the leg of Chris Hazely. Morris does his best Jacory Harris impression, as he throws 2 picks.
GWay: I do think this will be a close one, but we're determined, and it's Miami. We hate Miami. It will be a close one, 31-21, with the Hokies pulling away late, as is the theme this season. I believe.
JMcB: It's Miami. And it's an ACC-berth-clenching game. I think our team is motivated and, despite being on the road, will play out of their minds. It'll be close, but Bud Foster is going to eat up their run offense. And the freshman QB will make Jacory Harris esque mistakes (what, 4 picks?).
VT 28, Miami 21
I believe.
Token Girl: i just keep thinking about how awesome the vt/miami game was 1 yr ago at home....drenched, but awesome.....so i'm going with a throwback score....31-7 Hokies
CGally: My prediction is the exact same as the Guru's:
Kill backup, trouble with run. Low score, Hazley matters. Hosley = badass. Hokies win 23-14.
The Northerner: I only wish that Jacory Harris was playing because it must feel amazing for Hosley and Rock to intercept several passes from the reigning Heisman winner… oh wait, Jacory Harris is all hype and no substance? Just like the rest of Miami? Gotcha. Hokies start the game off by trailing – yet again – only to come back and win it. 28-17 Hokies.
There you go. Your predictions. Miami is a tough team, as always, and this is a huge game for both teams. Don't be surprised to see tears come out after this one. (probably from Maniak for no one complimenting his lip hampster.) It's a big game and we need to take care of business.
Gobble gobble, bitches.
GO HOKIES!!
