Remember those first three games of the season? Neither do we!
ACC play begins on Saturday. And right now, that's all that matters.
That, and clicking "Read more..."
Non-Metallica Pump-up Song of the Week
---------------------------
Anyone remember 2004? We lost two early games (granted not to a D-III school), and every game was a struggle. Well get ready, because EVERY GAME WILL BE A STRUGGLE. That’s just how it is this year.
Will we make a run to the ACC Championship like in 2004? Odds say no, but our hearts say without a shadow of a doubt. And lord knows our hearts are as objective as they come.
But no matter what we think, the goal is now winning the conference.
And it all starts on Saturday.
---------------------------
The Bad Guys
The Eagles com in 2-0. This is where we’d say they’ve beaten two pretty shitty teams (Weber and Kent States), but… yeah. We can’t do that anymore.
So all we know is that we’re both 0-0 in conference. Based on historical events, this will likely be a preview of the ACC Championship Game.
They have this doucher named Dave Shinskie. He’s the quarterback, and all eighteen BC fans think he is just the tits.
Wanna know what happened last time Shitskie faced the Hokies?
1 for 12 with 4 yards passing. His rating was -22.20. Anyone else not realize ratings go negative?

The Good Guys
It looks like RMFW is out this week, but that's quite alright. We’ve got two thoroughbreds in the stable.
The real question is whether or not this team will show up before half time. We just can’t figure out what’s wrong with these guys in the first 15 minutes.
I’d like to add more about last week, but I had to listen on the radio. Did you know they still have those things? It’s awesome.
But from the sounds of it, the final score reflected more defense than offense. Which isn’t shocking. Just… tiresome.

The Game
We got a few great stats from the Hokie Guru this weekend…
RT @kyletuckerVP: Only 8 BCS teams have attempted fewer passes (54) than the #Hokies. Only 8 teams average more yards per attempt (9.4) than VT
Clearly we have to give credit to both the Guru and KT for that one. Maybe we should throw more? Naaaaah. That's what they're expecting.
But there was an even crazier stat that HG sent in:
We haven’t scored an offensive touchdown at Boston College since 2002. We were in the Big East last time we threw or rushed for a touchdown in Chestnut Hill.
Say it with me: W. T. Fuck?
There’s just… no words for that. Pathetic? Disgusting? Voldemort? They don’t go far enough.
We’re going with “anemathetic”, a combination of anemic and pathetic. A great description of Voldemort’s past decade.

Keep ‘em coming. So easy. So fun.

RMFW Shirt of the Week
Each week, we’ll showcase another avid reader wearing their awesome (and very affordable!) RMFW t-shirt. Send in your picture, and you too could be showcased on a mid-level Virginia Tech blog!
Meet Mr. and Mrs. VROMAN. Die-hard Hokies. And might I say, damn good looking in those things.

Replacement Offensive Coordinator of the Week
No introduction needed. We’ve waited a long time to go to this tandem. And now seems to be just the right time.
Give a warm welcome to…

Mike O'Malley and Moira Quirk
Let's get a piece of that radical ACC rock!!!
LET'S GO HOKIES!!!
