So let's start here: WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
More after the jump.
-------------------
Man that feels good. Finally a win. But I have a bigger question that needs to be answered:
Where was this switch and who is in charge of flipping it?
Did you see how drastically different our team was in the first half comapred to the second? I mean "flipping the switch" is often used when a team gets better during a game, but in our case it's like Bud Foster took the defense in his time machine during halftime back to May and did summer practice all over again. In the first half we couldn't tackle a puddle. In the second half ECU were the magnet to our steel. No homo. Rashad Carmichael read Davis like a book in the second half, when in the first, he seemed illiterate. Let's hope the team keeps this going.
If I could quote The Key Play: DAVID WILSON. That is all.
We lost RMFW, at least for a little while. And by that, I mean a few practices. He officially pulled a hammy and they say he should be back for the BC game. So there's that. But David Wilson filled in for him pretty well. I mean he's not as explosive as RMFW, but he's pretty damn close. Darren Evans on the other hand just doesn't seem to have the fire he used to have. He can still run, but he seems to be missing something. Hopefully he finds it.
Tyrod looked good. And guess what?! The offensive line blocked someone! First one all season. Good for them. Now do it every play.
We finally put up the points we should be putting up against these teams, albeit a couple games late. But at least we're doing it. Now we head up to Chestnut Hill and put a hurting on the asshats from Boston College. Our first ACC game. This is where the season starts for us now. This week. Our record is 0-0. We've finally woken up.
Gobble gobble, bitches.
