The best part about last night's win was that we didn't f*cking lose to another shit ACC team.
It's getting late into basketball season, and the Hokies find themselves squarely on the bubble again. No official word on ESPN changing "bubble" to "Seth Greenburg", but we're sure it's coming.
This week's random prediction: The upcoming match-up with the Dookies. And you know what that means...

Last week, we asked the all-knowing predictors to guess whether or not your humble editor landed the one internship that would make the $100k he's dropping on grad school worth it.
Well, the call came in, and apparently they are not aware of this site, because they gave me an offer. To my dismay, the gentleman on the phone did mutter something about "ginger quota", so I guess that means you win, D_w. Your prize?

On to this week's predictions...
Barry: Prediction: Duke wins. Yes I am picking against the Hokies, but come on, you honestly think we will win this game??
The Northerner: I am shocked, SHOCKED, by all you asshats picking Duke. Gross. 72-71 VT. It's on.
CMU Football Analyst: Duke 65 - 61, cannot wait for March Madness. Is the NEZ doing a bracket? [Ed. Note: Of course! You know how many RMFW shirts we have to get rid of?]
D_w: Hokies win.. 82 - 78.. Delaney seals the victory at the foul line, Erin Andrews makes a surprise appearance at the game and Green scores a date with her by saying "i've got some clothes back at my place that need some ironing".
B Bull: Under Coach Greenberg we are 2-3 versus teams ranked #1, with wins over Wake (2009) and UNC (2007). All three losses have been close: lost by 3 to UNC (2009), lost by 2 to UNC (2008), and lost by 2 to Duke (2005). Coach Greenberg seems to always have the team ready to go when we take on the #1 team in the country, I'll take the Hokies and the upset.
Maniak: it will be a close game....but we will probably not win this one. i really hope we do tho.
Hokie Guru: Most important game of the season and yours truly will be in attendance...blah blah blah.... and the Hokies will win 78 - 71... the clinching top 50 RPI victory needed for the NCAA tournament. WOO.McB: Prediction. Virginia Tech pulls off an epic upset. With GameDay in town, it is going to be beyond electric. I believe. And on a separate note, CGally it is an absolute requirement that you post the picture of Washington nut-dunking on the Duke player. [Ed. Note: Done and done, good sir.]
CGally: A few more posts of the Deron picture, and I think we'll have enough karma to make the upset happen. Hokes 75-74.
