Frank Beamer got his 200th win. As for that win: Ugh. Recap after the jump.
-------------------------------------
That was not a very good game. To make you feel better, here is a picture of my parent’s new puppy, Charlie.
I bet that helps. That game was atrocious. We barely beat ECU. However, we DID beat ECU, so everything is okay for now. Also, Beamer got his 200th win at VT, so thats pretty friggin' sweet. Congrats Frankie Beams.
Let’s move on to the more atrocious thing in dealing with the game. That’s right: ESPN GameCast. This shit is, like, three friggin’ minutes behind the game, then it covers about 30 plays in 14 seconds. Shit is awful. I bet GameCast is responsible for approximately 42 heart attacks each Saturday from cramming three minutes of high-strung emotion into 37 seconds. Your team has the ball on the opponents 45 yard line thenyourrunningbackrushesforalossof5thenaninterception theotherteamjustscoredatouchdown. Shit is awful.
But all in all, we won. And you got to see one of the cutest golden retrievers in the entire world. So it’s all good. Go out. Drink a good bit. We got Arkansas State next week.
