Yes, Hokies, we are STILL alive! No, we didn't disappear and no, we weren't attacked by an unruly mob that detests what we do here. Though, we don't deny that groups like that exist. The boss (that's what he calls himself now) has been doing you all a favor by doing nothing but applying for jobs. Perhaps he can apply for the newest vacancy at Virginia Tech.

In case you didn't hear, Seth Greenberg was fired today. Athletic Director Jim Weaver and Tom Gabbard, Associate Director of Athletics, made the announcement today. We had an opportunity to watch the press conference and it was made clear that it wasn't based on wins and losses, but rather that they needed to go another direction with the leadership. Not to mention, both were displeased with the amount of turnover the coaching staff has gone through recently. In case you didn't know, VT was down to JUST Seth and the players after our last assistant coach went back to ODU for the exact same position. Yikes.

Regardless, the coaching search will begin tomorrow and hopefully we bring in someone who can take us to the next level. We wish you the best of luck Coach Greenberg in your future endeavors. You left the program better than when you came in and did some extraordinary things. We leave you with the many faces of Seth (see above) so that you may marvel in them one last time.
