Game 4: Bowling Green Predictions
Pittsburgh is the worst city in the history of the world. It’s awful. Why I write for a blog with a fan of anything Pittsburgh is beyond me, but I know that Pittsburgh is awful. Nothing good ever came out of that city. Nothing. Mr. Rogers was overrated.

BDubs: Watching our offensive line on the football field is like watching Helen Keller trying to use an iPhone. With that said, I feel like they will actually look something like a unit and actually let our running game develop. I am also a hopeless optimist and borderline homer with that comment. But in actuality,I fully expect the defense to go straight Waterboy on this team...they will be the best tacklers since Joe Montana! I mean, Joe Montegna! Hokies win 24-6!
DiP: 38-7 hokies
d_w: My head still hurts from watching that "game" last weekend.. but i'm heading to blacksburg for the game anyway! Hokies Def won't look like a high school team this weekend but the offense still will, so we win a nail biter 24 - 21 on a 4th quarter field goal.
Wright: Bowling Green can play, they hung with Florida for a good while earlier this year. Sluggish start and yet more miscommunication between the Tang Engine and his receivers, but a forced fumble turns the tide for good. Good guys pull away with two late scores and win 27-10.
And FSU beats the gay orange and purple if we're doing a bonus pick.
CMU Football Analyst: The Hokies will "bounce" back after the loss to Pitt. The game will mirror the score from the 1990 Bowling Green game 21-7.
Poppa Gally: We will be the weakest 3-1 team in the nation... VT 45-BGSU 6.... A blocked kick will happen!! Go Hokies!!
Hokie Ambassador to Philly Milwaukee: Memories of last week light a fire under the Hokies. The offense is still suspect, but Bud gets the defense working again and the Hokies cruise 26-10.
Maniak: i dont even want to think about this game. we win 16-9, no offensive touchdowns, three field goals.
Hokie Guru: We got some #MACtion coming the Blacksburg!! Bowling Green State University (BGSU) has 20 returning starters (including 2 DTs over 300 lbs), took Florida to the 4th quarter, and were picked 2nd in the MAC. We have trouble with teams that have big DTs - I think of that awful 2008 ECU game in Charlotte. We overlooked Pitt - we won't over look BGSU - but we might overlook our offensive issues. Did someone put a blue non-contact jersey on Stiney so he's not calling plays? lol Virginia Tech is favored by 19 points. I'll take the under (48), but BGSU taking the points. Virginia Tech wins 23-17.

JMcB: Bud Foster probably ate a small child during the week based on how awful our defense and tackling was.
Tech does not typically fall off 2 weeks in a row...so VT rebounds but still shows a lot of issues.

Token Girl: I'm going to optimistically go with 31-21 VT.
CGally: Helen Keller died in 1968. There is no way she used an iPhone.
Hokies win, but ugly. 21-14. Settle on folks. Gonna be a long year.
The Northerner: I hope we do well this week. I don’t know if I can handle a bad game against BGU. We’ll win, but like BDubs, it will be ugly. VT wins 28-10. Sweet jeebus, I hope it turns out well.

Honestly, there’s not much to say here. We need to clean our crap up and get our team on the right track. All three sides of the ball need to get better. I can’t go and have three losses in football this weekend. Last weekend killed me with the Hokies, Pats, and my fantasy team. It was a bloodbath. Let’s not do that this weekend, mmkay? Cool, thanks.
